Indian Creek Distillery is a family-owned operation in New Carlisle, Ohio, operating on the historic Staley Mill Farm in Miami County. The distillery's roots trace back to 1818, when Elias Staley and his brothers purchased land along Indian Creek and built a grist mill. By 1820, excess grain from the mill led Elias to construct a distillery on the property, making Indian Creek one of the oldest continuously family-associated distilling sites in the United States.

The Staley family held the original copper pot stills for generations, and after the end of Prohibition the stills passed down through the family without active use. Sixth-generation distillers Missy and Joe Duer resurrected the distillery using the family's original 1820-era copper equipment, blending historical authenticity with modern quality standards to create what they describe as Ohio Frontier Whiskeys.

The flagship is Seven Staleys American Bourbon Whiskey, named to honor the seven generations of the Staley family who have lived and worked on the farm. Produced from a high-corn mash bill (95% corn), Seven Staleys is bottled at 53.5% ABV (107 proof) and reflects the rich, sweet character of Ohio corn. The 1820 Bourbon is a 100-proof expression that directly commemorates the year of the distillery's original founding, offering a full-bodied, historically inspired profile.

Additional expressions include the Elias Staley White Rye, produced from a 200-year-old mash bill preserved by the family, and the American BondHouse Bourbon—a cask-strength expression at 120 proof. Indian Creek distributes within Ohio through the OHLQ system and operates a tasting room and on-site mercantile.
